About the Beechcraft Super King Air
Coordination and observation aircraft
It carries the observers and radios that organize the air operation. It locates and assesses the fire, identifies safe drop runs, separates aircraft in the incident airspace, and guides tankers; it normally carries no water or retardant.
What this type can do
The King Air 200 is a fast, enduring twin-turboprop with room for an air-attack supervisor, communications, and sensors. It builds the overview of a large incident and sequences tankers and helicopters from above.
This describes the type’s usual firefighting capability; it does not prove what this aircraft is carrying or doing now.

The Beechcraft Super King Air family is part of a line of twin-turboprop aircraft produced by Beechcraft. The Model 200 and Model 300 series were originally marketed as the "Super King Air" family; the "Super" designation was dropped in 1996. They form the King Air line together with the King Air Model 90 and 100 series.
